Geneva, December 10, 2024- Razi Institute held a pivotal meeting with delegates from the World Health Organization (WHO) on Tuesday, November 10, in conjunction with fifth session of the Working Group on the Strengthening of the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC). This session aimed to tackle urgent public health issues and foster deeper collaboration between Razi Institute and WHO.
Geneva, Switzerland – In a significant step toward enhancing international cooperation on biological safety, Razi Institute had a meeting with the Russian research center ARRIAH during the fifth session of the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC). This meeting followed a seminar showcasing ARRIAH's research and educational capabilities, attended by Dr. Nikita Lebedev, head of international affairs at ARRIAH, and coordinated by the Iranian delegation in Geneva.
Geneva, Switzerland – The fifth session of the Working Group on the Strengthening of the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) is scheduled to take place from December 2 to 13, 2024, at the United Nations Office in Geneva. This meeting aims to advance international cooperation and enhance the implementation of the BWC as state parties navigate the increasingly complex landscape of biological threats.
